💭 How Many Capability & Vehicle Types Are There?

For each Capability and Vehicle Type, there’s three per category. For Capabilities, these are your Damage Dealing, Damage Taking, and Support Heroes. These guys are your typical classes that you’d find in a lot of other strategy and action games. Besides Vehicle Types, there’s more of an emphasis on having a balance of these classes for their buffs, protection, and DPS. With Vehicle Types, this is where things get a little weird. Every Hero has a specialization in a vehicle for more damage and movement abilities. However, they have a sort of Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic against each other. For example, Tank Vehicles take less damage from Missile Vehicles, but more from Aircrafts. This knowledge becomes way more important in PVP matches where counters become essential.

🔫 The Damage Dealing Capability Type

Damage Dealer Heroes specialize in giving out the most damage possible. This is measured typically in a short amount of time, also known as DPS. These Heroes lean more towards being aggressive and offensive in their kits too. The best Heroes in this category have powerful AoE attacks that are perfect for crowd control, especially in the later levels of matches.

There are two main types of damage that Damage Dealers can inflict. Physical Damage is the basic type. This one focuses on pure force that weakens the defense of enemy troops. Then there’s Energy Damage, which is a little more complex. This damage bypasses specific types of defenses. This is especially true to those weak to Energy Strikes.

🛡️ The Damage Taking Capability Type

Damage Taking Heroes are pretty self-explanatory by just the name itself. These Heroes specialize in absorbing damage from enemies to protect the rest of the army. This makes the majority of their kits built around high Defense, especially when protecting themselves to stay alive and stall enemy armies. Damage Takers are essential for PVP as they can really help buy you some time against the hardest players.

There are a ton of different Defense Skill types that a Damage Taker can have. The simplest is Physical Protection which just defends against Physical Damage. Then there are also the buffs for the Defense stat alongside debuffs for enemies. There’s also Monster Damage Reduction, but this is more suited against Zombies in PVE matches. Finally, the most critical is the Counterattack Defense abilities that only form after being hit first. These can be insanely powerful since your Heroes are meant to soak up the Damage first before essentially giving it back.

🩹 The Support Capability Type

The last Capability Type of Hero is the Support. This is arguably one of the most important and often overlooked type to have in your army. While they aren’t gonna deal the most damage, their buffs will ensure that your actual Damage Dealers and stalling Defense Takers do. Some Supports will focus on giving heals while others cast massive buffs to increase the powers of the troops even more.

Knowing how to manage your Support Heroes can make a massive difference between a veteran and pro PVP player. Combat enhancements help increase the basic stats of the troops and other Heroes. Even in PVE against Zombies, your Support Heroes can increase the damage done against them to help with progression. Outside of battle, Support Heroes can also increase the number of resources you get for your base too!

🪖 The Tank Vehicle Type

Tank Heroes typically carry more Defense buffs than the other Heroes. Just like a Tank in real life, they are heavy hitters with very strong armor. Tank Heroes are great at taking down flimsy Missile Heroes because of this. However, they will struggle against Aircraft Heroes, causing them to get shot down far more quickly in comparison.

💥 The Missile Vehicle Type

Missile Vehicle Types

Missile Vehicle Types are the best against Tank Heroes. They take far less damage from them while doing double on their armor. Aircraft Hero Types also have the benefit of having more damage compared to Defense. However, unlike Tanks, this can make Missile Heroes act more like a glass cannon which is something to watch out for.

✈️ The Aircraft Vehicle Type

Aircraft Vehicle Type

Aircraft Vehicle Types have the most going on for them in terms of abilities and advantages. They’re the strongest against Missile Vehicles, but incredibly weak to the slow Tanks. However, they have the biggest advantage of being able to take to the skies. This allows them to be a bit harder to hit and move across maps way faster than other Vehicles. They even have faster movement speeds too, but it’s best not to stray too far from your army.
